  1. Non-sex CHA2DS2-VASc score of ≥ 2 warrants anticoagulation therapy, while patients with HAS-BLED of ≥ 3 are at higher risk of bleeding. Please note that there are some modifiable risk factors in both scores which clinicians should consider during the management of AF patients and risk balancing between ischemic and embolic risks
