Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) is classified angiographically into 3 types. Type 1 has appearance of contrast dye staining of arterial wall with multiple radiolucent lumen. Type 2 shows diffuse long (> 20 mm) and smooth narrowing. Type 3 has focal or tubular stenosis. AFL is defined as an aneurysmal protrusion in the false lumen of SCAD.
